Directorate for Digital Agenda, as a body within the Ministry of Foreign and Home Trade and Telecommunications, performs professional work and public administration work relating to: -implementation of strategies in fields of information society and electronic communications; application of information technology and the Internet; -providing information services; -research and development in fields of information society and electronic communications; -information and communication infrastructure development; -improvement and development of information systems of public administration on all levels; -supporting Internet use in the work of public administration on all levels; -development and implementation of standards in introducing ICT in public administration on all levels; -creating favorable conditions for implementation of projects financed from EU pre-accession funds, grants and other forms of development assistance in fields of information society and electronic communications, as well as other duties specified by law.
